If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these terms and conditions shall not be affected and shall remain in force. As soon as Gemcast has delivered the goods, the Customer will be responsible for their safekeeping and Gemcast will not be responsible for any damage or fault arising from incorrect storage. All metal including silver and gold, oxidises over a period of time. Gemcast will also not be responsible for the discolouring of metal due to oxidisation, from poor storage, from the elapse of time or from ordering well before the date of use. The customer is advised to be made aware of oxidisation and Gemcast recommends that our items are not posted until at least 6 weeks before their date of use. Orders can be placed at anytime where the order is logged until closer to the customers date of use when they are made for that customer. Goods purchased which do not include the hand-made crystal items, for example, gifts, handbags or manufactured jewellery will be sent the next working day. |
| Making A Purchase Shopping Online To shop on-line, first click on the buttons on the left hand side of the screen to select the product category. This displays the first page of products in the category. At the top of the page it shows how many products and pages there are in total. You will be shown a summary of up to 10 products per page. This shows the name of the product, a small picture, the description and the price including VAT. At this stage you can add a product to your basket by pressing the button. To page back and forwards through the product pages use either the page links at the top or the 'Next' and 'Back' buttons at the bottom. When you have added all the products you want to your basket, proceed to checkout by pressing the 'checkout' button across the top of the page. Once at Checkout, you can review your final bill by pressing the 'Recalculate' button. When you are ready press the 'Submit Order' Button. You will now have to enter your name and address and contact information. When you have completed this screen, you will be asked how you would like to pay. You have 2 options: Enter credit card securely on-line via PayPal Print order form to post with a cheque. Click on the option you require to finalise your order. Payment We accept payment by cheque and all major credit/debit cards through our secure server PayPal. |
| Shipping And Handling Postage We offer UK customers free postage on all items. All orders will be securely wrapped and sent as 1st Class recorded delivery so you will need to sign for them upon arrival. Non UK customers will be charged the appropriate postage at the checkout. | Delivery Schedule All crystal items are dispatched 6 weeks prior to their date of use. Should the date of use be sooner than items will be sent within 7 - 14 days . If your date of use is imminent please contact us to ensure the item can be made and dispatched in time All other items including handbags, jewellery and gifts are posted the next working day after payment is received. |

| Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer.
